Association of Multicultural Scientists


Next Meeting - Thursday, July 24th, noon - 1 p.m. in 4-101 Hasselmo Hall. Lunch will be provided. We will be meeting with LSSURP interns to discuss graduate school regarding: choosing a program, choosing an institution, the application process, what to expect, etc.  Hope to see you there!

The Association of Multicultural Scientists (AMS) is a new student organization formed and led by graduate students in the biological sciences at the University of Minnesota.

We welcome:

  • Graduate students

  • Post doctoral fellows

  • Faculty

Anyone with an interest in fostering and supporting diversity in programs in the biological sciences is invited to join and participate in AMS.
